1. Scope
These Terms govern access to Med-Dent.org and its recorded medical and dental education. Paid checkout is not active yet. These purchase terms will apply when verified business details and payment processing are activated.
2. Seller and business model
Med-Dent.org commissions, produces, publishes, and sells its own catalogue of digital lectures. It is not a marketplace. When checkout is activated, the verified U.S. entity operating Med-Dent.org will be the sole contractual seller and merchant of record. A customer purchases only from Med-Dent.org and does not enter a purchase transaction with a lecturer.
Lecturers contribute under separate professional agreements and are paid contracted professional fees by Med-Dent.org independently of customer transactions. They are not sellers or payment recipients on the site, and no customer payment is split with or routed to them.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. Account and checkout information must be accurate. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorised use.
4. Orders, prices, and payment
Each lecture is a separate, one-time purchase from Med-Dent.org in USD. There is no subscription, recurring charge, or automatic renewal. The title, language, duration, format, price, and included program shown before checkout form part of the purchase description. Applicable taxes and the final total will be shown before payment. An order is accepted only after successful payment confirmation.
5. Access period
A successful purchase provides the purchaser with online access to the selected lecture for 12 months from payment confirmation. Access is personal, limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable. No physical product is shipped. See the Digital Delivery Policy.
6. Permitted use
You may view a purchased lecture for your own education. You may not share account access, copy or redistribute recordings or materials, screen them publicly, resell or sublicense access, remove rights notices, systematically capture content, scrape the service, or use recordings or materials to train an AI model without written permission.
7. Education-only content
Med-Dent.org is not a medical service and does not establish a clinician–patient relationship. Content is not a substitute for clinical judgment, supervised training, local protocols, professional licensing requirements, or patient-specific advice. Do not use the service for emergencies. A technique may not be appropriate in every jurisdiction or clinical setting, and no clinical outcome is guaranteed.
8. Qualifications, translations, and credits
Access to a lecture does not qualify a purchaser to perform a procedure or grant a licence, specialist status, certification, academic credit, or CME/CPD credit unless the lecture page expressly states a separately verified entitlement. Non-English lectures are identified as translations from English; users should consider local terminology and clinical standards.
9. Refunds
Unused lectures may be eligible for a refund requested within 14 calendar days of purchase. Eligibility and the meaning of unused are described in the Refund Policy. Statutory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
10. Availability and remedies
We may restrict access when necessary to protect users, content rights, payment integrity, or the service. If a paid lecture becomes materially unavailable during its access period, we will first try to restore access and may provide an extension, suitable replacement with your agreement, price reduction, or refund as appropriate.
11. Intellectual property
Med-Dent.org owns or controls the exclusive commercial rights required to record, edit, publish, sell, and deliver each commissioned lecture and its supporting materials. Lecturer names, likenesses, and any clearly identified pre-existing or third-party materials remain governed by their respective rights and written permissions. A purchase grants only the personal access licence described in these Terms and transfers no ownership rights.
12. Service changes and liability
We may make reasonable corrections, quality improvements, and maintenance changes without materially reducing a purchased lecture. The service is provided subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Governing terms and contact
The verified U.S. contracting entity, formation state, governing law, venue, registered address, and support phone will be inserted before paid checkout is activated. Mandatory consumer protections in a purchaser’s jurisdiction remain unaffected. Questions can be sent to hello@med-dent.org.
