Personal data we collect
We may collect personal data you provide through account, purchase-request, and support forms, including your name, email address, optional phone number, country or region, professional interests, consent record, and message. When checkout is activated, we will also receive order identifiers, the lecture purchased, payment status, amount, currency, and limited billing information from the payment provider.
Payment information
Paid checkout is not active yet. When activated, payment details will be collected through Stripe’s secure payment interface. Med-Dent.org does not intend to receive or store full card numbers or card security codes. Stripe processes payment and fraud-prevention data under its own privacy terms.
Technical information
We may process IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, referring pages, security events, and cookie or local-storage identifiers needed to operate, secure, and improve the site.
How information is used
- Provide accounts, lecture access, support, and transaction records.
- Respond to enquiries, refunds, disputes, and delivery problems.
- Protect the service, content rights, and payment flow.
- Understand service performance and improve the catalog, subject to your cookie choices where required.
- Meet legal, accounting, tax, and compliance obligations.
Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing is based on providing the requested service or contract, consent, legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as security and support.
Sharing
Personal data may be shared with hosting, security, communications, analytics, and payment providers only as needed for their services, and with authorities or professional advisers when required by law or to protect legitimate rights. Lecturers are not sellers or payment recipients and do not receive customer payment data. When enabled, Stripe will process payment, device, and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy terms. We do not currently sell personal data or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Retention
Support and purchase-request records are generally retained for up to 24 months after resolution. When sales begin, order, invoice, refund, and tax records may be retained for up to seven years or the period required by law. Security logs are generally retained for up to 12 months unless an incident requires longer preservation. Consent and suppression records may be kept as needed to demonstrate or honour your choices.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Never send full card details, passwords, patient-identifiable information, or unrelated medical records through a support form or email.
Your choices
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or object to particular processing. Send requests to hello@med-dent.org. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Adults only
Med-Dent.org is intended for adults and professional learners and is not directed to children. Do not submit information if you are under 18.
Cookies and international use
Cookie and browser-storage choices are explained in the Cookie Policy. Providers and users may be located in different countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers.
Updates and controller contact
Material policy changes will be posted here with an updated date. The verified U.S. controller name, registered address, and support phone will be added before payment activation. Privacy requests can be sent to hello@med-dent.org.
